The Green Room – Generalife

A gardener attending his work at the gardens of the Generalife, which date back 700 years. The name is derived from Arabic, Jannat al-‘Arīf, which means, literally, “Architect’s Garden.” This, I believe is the Jardín de la Sultana (Sultana’s Garden) sometimes called the Courtyard of the Cypress. Guess why.
