Union Station, Washington, D.C., January 2011. The security guard wouldn’t move out of my shot. There were no restrictions on photographing the sculpture, and even though he didn’t want his photo taken, he stood there in my way. The moral of this story is, if you don’t want your photo taken, move the hell out of the way. This is probably the only time I’ve ever taken a photo of someone who objected. I’ve only had around 5 people object in 40 years.
