“Rubbish Bins or Trash Cans,” Southern London, UK or Washington, D.C., January 2017
I get those places confused sometimes.
East Croydon, or Littlehampton, DC. 🙂
This architectural style was really popular in the 1960s when I was a kid. Pretty much every side alley looked like this in 1968, except we didn’t have the posh trash cans; we had the old metal, clanging monsters. Those and the satellites are the only things that date this photo at all.
Washington and Littlehampton do have some similarities. Maybe that’s why we’re similar. It’s the environmental influence. 😉
such a great urban documentary shot… the laundry is such a gorgeous detail and quite universal obviously – so is it UK or US? 😀
Thank you very much. This is in the U.S., Washington, D.C., but it looks a lot like southern England.
