Thanks for the kind words. It’s going well, all things considered. I’m enjoying being retired and spending a lot of time editing my photos and books. Hopefully, I’ll be publishing both soon, but it hasn’t left much time for anything else.
All’s well down here, Bill thanks.
Though I got bitten … again … by a bloody Sac Spider ten days ago above my left ankle.
Nothing like a bit of cytotoxic venom to make you have Peter Parker delusions. I’ve been limping around like Hop Along Cassidy.
Some spiders have no respect for would-be David Attenboroughs who tramp through their space in the garden with a camera. You’d think they would enjoy being photographed, ungrateful little sods.
Glad to hear you’re. I guess the spider was offended by your lack of fear. I lack that intrepid instinct when it comes to photographing spiders and bees and such.
It’s been a while since I was last bitten and this one is a real corker!
At first, the leg just went red and inflamed and we thought it might be a clot so I went off to the hospital a couple of Sundays ago where a thoroughly fed-up and uninterested res. Doctor said: ”Not a clot and not a spider bite. Here are some anti- biotics. Keep it clean. Bye.”
Well … er thanks, I guess.
I was glad it wasn’t a clot … and I know certain spider bites!
Thanks a lot. Yes, it does seem our main human contact happens through the computer. I guess this shot is the equivalent of someone’s reading a huge newspaper over someone else’s shoulder. 🙂
Love it!

Forgot to ask, how’s it going? Seeing as you’ve been quiet for a while?

Thanks! Actually, my Fujifilm cameras have a silent shutter, since they’re electronic. 🙂
